K2 has a rich background in the Cascade Range, which has been their testing ground since the beginning. With the knowledge that their history is on the same slopes that I have grown to love, it was an easy decision to go with a local company.
With that said, it gives me great pride and honor to say that I am now riding for PNW-based K2 Snowboarding. I’m currently helping to develop K2’s backcountry gear, including boots, splitboards, and the Backside Tools line. This season I’ve used the Panoramic splitboard exclusively and I am more than impressed with the commitment that K2 is showing to the backcountry; I look forward to contributing to their role in the future of the backcountry scene.
