Ski Touring info on Midteraksia in the Tamokdalen Valley
The photo above shows both Midteraksia and Rostakulen which is otherwise know as “Pyramid Peak”. This photo is taken from Istinden Ridge directly behind the Tamok Husset. This is one a great ski tour in the Tamokdalen valley as it is a relatively safe route when considering avalanche conditions. The area offers numerous descent opportunities as well as being an incredibly scenic route. From my experience the best way to access is it by parking to the west and following the Cross Country ski trail before following the main creeks west slopes.
